Borden based farm machinery dealer, H. C. Trappitt & Sons, has won a National Top 10 Dealer Award for 1989 for sales of agricultural equipment produced by leading Australian manufacturer, Horwood Bagshaw.

H. C. Trappitt & Sons principal, Mr. Pat Fox, accepted the award in Perth during a one day conference of Horwood Bagshaw's West Australian dealers.
The dealer awards were presented in Perth by the General Manager of Marketing of Horwood Bagshaw, Mr. Peter Murray, who told dealers that the company had achieved a 56 per cent jump in sales of Horwood Bagshaw headers during 1989 against an overall decline of 10 per cent in the Australian market.

"This sales success had been achieved through outstanding performances by dealerships such as H. C.
Trappitt & Sons in an enthusiastic national dealer network," Mr. Murray said.
He also announced that Horwood Bagshaw is manufacturing more self propelled and power take-off headers at the company's factory at Mannum — its home town in South Australia — as the strong 1989 sales performance had exhausted stocks”
